Our Initiatives
Preserve Culture organization has partnered with Tata Trust’s Antaran project and together we are trying to solve the structural issues facing the artisans in the Kamrup region. We believe that a systematic intervention can help create an enabled community that learns modern methods to fuse with historically evolved craft knowledge.
Most of the artisans are women and they often have no money to buy raw material and the looms they use are very old and create productivity and health issues.
